New Club Entry System from 3 August

Dear Member,

We wanted to make you aware of an important change to the club entry system which will come into effect from Monday 3 August.

As part of the ongoing improvements to the shared club facilities, a new electronic entry system has been installed at the main entrance to the site. From 3 August, members will access the club using a personal QR code through the ManageOurClub (MOC) portal.

What does this mean for Squash members?

To enable Squash members to use the new system, we are working with Sutton Coldfield Tennis Club, who administer the MOC system, to create the necessary member accounts.

As part of this process, limited Squash Club membership information will be securely shared with Sutton Coldfield Tennis Club and processed within the MOC system. We are ensuring that only the information necessary to create and administer member accounts, verify current membership and provide access to the shared club premises is transferred.

The Squash Club and Tennis Club remain separate organisations and are each responsible for the personal information they hold.

We are currently finalising the arrangements with Tennis and ServeSport/ManageOurClub and will provide further instructions regarding access to your MOC account and QR code as soon as these are available.

New entry arrangements

From Monday 3 August:

Entry and exit will normally be through the main reception entrance.

Your personal MOC QR code will be used at the reader beside the main entrance.

The outside/side gate will normally be closed.

The Front of House team will be available during staffed hours to assist members who experience any difficulties with access.

Arrangements will remain available for members who require the side gate for bicycle, pushchair or wheelchair access.

Please bear with us during the initial transition to the new system. We appreciate that this represents a change to the way members currently access the site and we will work with Tennis and the Front of House team to resolve any initial issues as quickly as possible.

We'll send a further update once the Squash membership accounts have been set up and we can confirm exactly how you can access your personal QR code.

Thank you for your cooperation.

Best wishes

Sutton Coldfield Squash Club
