Sutton First Team – 2025/26 Season Preview

Dear Members,

As the new county squash league season gets underway, we’re pleased to introduce our Sutton First Team, representing the club in the Warwickshire League for 2025/26.

This season’s squad brings together professional experience, university talent, and long-standing club representation:

1. Rhys Evans – Welsh international currently ranked inside the world’s top 130, with PSA titles at the East Glos Open and Mozart / Salzburg Open.

2. Caleb Boy – 20-year-old Loughborough University student and PSA player, coached by Ben Ford. He reached a career-high world ranking of 456 earlier this year and was runner-up at the Stourbridge Open.

3. Joe Pannell – 20-year-old Loughborough University student and PSA competitor who joined the tour in 2021 and recently featured in the Excalibur Cup.

4. Omar Hanafi – A young Egyptian player who has recently moved to the UK to study at the University of Birmingham. This is his first season representing Sutton.

5. Haroon Rashid – A long-standing talented Sutton player and consistent member of the first team over many seasons.

The squad combines developing talent with valuable experience and will represent Sutton in league fixtures throughout the 2025/26 season. We wish the team every success throughout the season!
