Upcoming British Junior Open – 2nd to 5th January

Dear Members,

The draws and schedule have been announced and we are excited to be hosting the majority of the Boys’ and Girls’ U17 and U19 draws for the British Junior Open, taking place from 2nd to 5th January.

The British Junior Open (BJO) is one of the most prestigious events on the junior squash calendar attracting the best young prospects from around the world battling it out for the coveted titles.

This year’s event will be one of the biggest in the championship’s history, attracting more than 600 competitors, representing over 30 nations competing in ten age categories from the Under 11s to the Under 19s for both boys and girls

We will also be hosting these players for practice court bookings which in total has generated more than £1000 in revenue for the club as well as additional revenue for being a host club.

During the tournament from Thursday 2nd to Sunday 5th there will be no court bookings available for members. To thank you for your understanding and support, the committee has agreed that from 25th December to 11th January, all courts will be available to book for just £1.

We hope you’ll take advantage of this offer and join us in celebrating such a prestigious event at our club.
